Myrtle Beach Bike Week® Spring Rally
May 11 – 20, 2012

The Beach is Back – A saying you are starting to see in some magazines regarding Bike Week.  When did the beach leave??   Is this a way for some to say we listened to the city of mb who has nothing to do with bike week and we screwed up.   Now we want to wave a flag and say “The Beach is Back” and come back to the Grand Strand to enjoy all the wonderful attractions and great riding on the Coast Line of SC and NC.  We NEVER LEFT but glad you are going to join us again for the Myrtle Beach Bike Week® – Spring Rally 2012.   Welcome Back and have a great time just like in the past.

Extremely Good’ Myrtle Beach Bike Week® — Spring Rally 2011.  It wasn’t your imagination. There really were more Motorcycle Enthusiasts attending Myrtle Beach Bike Week® — Spring Rally 2011.    Murrells Inlet was the Bike Week Destination during the Spring Rally as it has been for decades.   We expect much more growth for Myrtle Beach Bike Week® — Spring Rally 2012.    The dates are May 11 – 20, 2012.

Traveling Around the City of Myrtle Beach
We get asked a lot – how can we totally avoid the city of mb?
For the people going north or south and do not want to be in the traffic or in the City of Myrtle Beach take the 31 Bypass.  You can get on the 31 bypass from Hwy 544 and connect to US 22 and exit off near North Myrtle Beach at the Pro Bass Shop.  You can bypass Myrtle Beach totally.

Be Mindful of Local Laws
To name a few very Important ones:
1) Legal drinking age is 21.
2) No open containers of alcoholic beverages in vehicles or public areas.
3) Motorcycle operators and passengers under 21 must wear an approved helmet under SC law.
The helmet law the city of mb passed has been OVERTURNED by the SC Supreme Court.
4) Speeding and seat belt laws are strictly enforced.
5) The Noise Ordinance the city of mb passed is still in effect.
6) No littering.
